As they came back together in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, they boys offered a glimmer of hope. Thereafter, Big Time Rush returned with new music. Now, it’s all about the BTR legacy. Traversing back to the time when they dominated TV screens and ‘best boy band’ polls, every single one of you is bound to live it up. “We truly have the best fans in the world and when we sat down to plot this tour we wanted to give them everything they have always asked us for and dreamed of,” BTR shared in an official statement. “That’s the reason we are so excited to be going on the road all over the world to play every song from every episode of the TV show.”
The iconic series “Big Time Rush” premiered on Nickelodeon back in November 2009. By 2010, BTR became a global sensation, attracting millions of young viewers for their cheeky antics, hilarious jokes, good looks, catchy music, and amazing talent. With everyone hooked, the band was always associated as one of the biggest acts amidst boy band domination, alongside One Direction and The Wanted. Though they were positioned by Nickelodeon to be a “child-friendly” act, their music continues to hit the hearts of the grown-ups today. As everyone grew, their hearts remained the same. Now, fans can’t wait to live it up once again.
“Big Time Rush is a standout, not only because of their boyish charm and good looks, but because their music is a cool blend of synth-pop, hip-hop, and boy-band harmonies,” Jessica Dawson from Common Sense Media shared.
They’ve been hailed as one of the best boy bands of all time, with various outlets including Washington Times Magazine sharing the same sentiment. In a 2012 poll by Parade, they were named “Best Boy Band in the World”, surpassing One Direction among a total of 800,000 votes casted. The world has spoken, and it can’t get enough of BTR.
Now, they’re bringing it all back. Performing under the stars at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, get ready for a hot summer night with these boys. Book your tickets now!
