Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett are hitting the road for what might be the biggest tour of the calendar. The Crooner & the Cowboy Tour will land at the stunning Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Sunday 21st September 2025. And as expected, tickets are already selling out fast. Opening for Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett at select shows is the Canadian country artist Noeline Hofmann and esteemed LA musician Reyna Tropical, among others. Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett have recently announced a highly anticipated trek that, for the most part, takes place this summer. The Texas musicians are coming together to bring you the Crooner & the Cowboy Tour. The road trip kick starts in June at LA’s famous Hollywood Bowl, and is slated to wind down on September 23 at the Moody Center, in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Leon Bridges dropped his latest album, Leon, in October. And we’re obsessed. More recently, the San Benito, Texas native Charley Crockett spoiled fans with his Island Records debut, Lonesome Drifter.
Talking about his fourth and arguably best album, Leon Bridges explained, “It’s soulful music in the truest sense – it’s imbued with my soul. I’m excited to share these stories about my home, about nostalgia, about my upbringing, about where I’m from, with all of you. I hope this music brings you back to your roots and your journey.”
Charley Crockett is flying high from his Grammy Award-nominated 2024 set “$10 Cowboy.” After celebrating 10 years since his debut album landed, the Texas-born country singer has just released what might just be his best record yet. The Americana singer and songwriter co-produced the brand new mixtape, “Lonesome Drifter,” with industry heavyweight Shooter Jennings. They recorded the record in only 10 days at the stunning Sunset Sounds Studio in LA. Issued on March 14, this is Charley Crockett’s 15th record so far and features an unbelievably catchy set of soulful, psychedelic-tinted country-blues songs.
Both fans and critics are praising Lonesome Drifter, with Studio One saying, “Crockett’s latest album, Lonesome Drifter, is right up there with his best offerings — maybe even his strongest to date. The songwriting, in my opinion, has surpassed $10 Dollar Cowboy and Welcome To Hard Times. It wouldn’t be surprising if it's this album that breaks him out as country’s next big thing, and the genre would be all the better for it.”
